Trucha Bug Restorer is a powerful piece of homebrew software that you can use on your Wii to make sure that it is formatted properly in order to play burned games and use other hacks. This video will show you how to use it to set up an installation of cIOS on your Wii, which is the program that allows you to play burned backup copies of games.

From the creator:

This video shows how to use TBR, which works on any Wii (including LU64+). After you've followed the Steps you will be able installing cIOS by using IOS36.

REMOVE ALL GAMECUBE HARDWARE BEFORE DOING THIS!

-----------------------------------------------------

INFO: If you have a 4.2X Wii and TBR 1.1 fails, you are asked to use TBRMOD (second link in the download section), as well as IOS15-64-v523.wad instead of v266. Other than this, the procedure is quite the same.

-----------------------------------------------------

I'm using Wi-Fi here to download needed IOS. If your Wii is not connected to the Internet you'll need following WAD files in your SD root:

IOS15-64-v257.wad

IOS15-64-v266.wad (for TBR1.0)

IOS15-64-v523.wad (for TBR1.1/MOD)

IOS36-64-v3094.wad (for TBR1.0)

IOS36-64-v3351.wad (for TBR1.1/MOD)

Then replace «Download IOS from NUS» with «Load IOS from sd card»
